The Yemeni city of Hodeidah witnessed, at dawn on Wednesday, a massive explosion in one of the oil tanks in the port of the city located on the Red Sea coast.
Local sources said that a huge explosion was heard in the city of Hodeidah, after the burning fire reached one of the fuel tanks in the port’s oil facilities.
The sources added that flames and smoke were seen rising in the sky of the port, as a result of the failure of efforts to contain the fire that reached the fuel tank days after the Israeli raids that targeted the port.
The Israeli bombing that targeted the port of Hodeidah last Saturday resulted in the death of nine civilians, the injury of 87 and the loss of three others, according to Houthi media, in addition to significant material losses and damage.
