China strongly opposed on Sunday the US inclusion of several Chinese entities on the "entity list of export restrictions" over their ties to Russia, calling on Washington to "stop unjustifiably harassing Chinese companies.
" This came in a statement by a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, who described the US move as a "unilateral sanction" that undermines the international trading system and its rules, hinders normal international economic and trade exchanges, and seriously affects the security and stability of global industrial and supply chains.
The spokesperson pointed out that China is determined to take necessary measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of its companies.
