US President Joe Biden said, on Friday, in an interview with ABC: “No one is more qualified than me to be president or to win” in the US presidential elections.
Biden, who has been criticized for his mental abilities since his bad debate against his Republican opponent, Donald Trump, stressed that his job is like “submitting a cognitive test every day,” when journalist George Stephanopoulos asked him if he was ready to undergo this type of test.
Biden spoke about the "disastrous" debate he had with Republican candidate Donald Trump, in which Biden appeared very poorly, with a kind of lack of clarity or dementia.
“It was a bad day for me,” Biden said. “But there was no sign of anything serious. I was exhausted. I didn’t listen to my instincts about preparing. It was a bad night.”
Biden stressed that he does not place the blame on anyone, but only on himself. He did not go into details, but he kept repeating the phrase, “It was a bad night for me.”
