The Ministry of Interior announced today, Thursday, the seizure of a psychotropic drug factory containing the latest devices and equipment used in compressing and manufacturing narcotic substances and psychotropic substances in a desert area in the north of the country.
The General Department of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry stated in a press statement that the men of the Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Department of Drug Control, were able to arrest three defendants who were running the factory, with about 55 kilograms of the narcotic substance (Larica) powder and 35 kilograms of the narcotic substance (Chemical).
The statement added that about 500,000 capsules of (Larica), 100,000 tablets of (Captagon), 500 grams of (Shabu), 12 modern devices for manufacturing psychotropic substances and a sensitive scale were also seized from the defendants, indicating that they and the seized items were referred to the competent authority to take the necessary legal measures against them.
