The Israeli army announced on Monday the killing of another prominent Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip.
The army said in a statement: "We killed Abdel Fattah al-Zari'i on Sunday," describing him as "Hamas's Minister of Economy."
The army explained that al-Zari'i was "a leader in the manufacturing department of Hamas's military wing."
Israel has intensified its strikes on the Gaza Strip, which has led to the number of Palestinian deaths rising to nearly 40,000.
A few days ago, the head of Hamas's political wing, Ismail Haniyeh, was assassinated in Tehran, in an attack attributed to Israel, which has not claimed responsibility for it.
