Israeli reports: Iran's attack is imminent and before the "Qatar Summit"

Israeli estimates revealed on Wednesday that Iran may launch an imminent attack on Israel as soon as possible and will not wait until the end of the summit, tomorrow, Thursday, in Qatar, which aims to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

According to Israeli estimates, the Iranians do not want to wait until after the summit in Qatar, and the attack is likely to take place tomorrow, Thursday, or even today, Wednesday, according to the Israeli newspaper Maariv.

This trend is reinforced by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken postponing his visit to the Middle East, which was scheduled for Wednesday, against the backdrop of uncertainty about the Iranian attack.

White House spokesman John Kirby said on Tuesday that the United States is monitoring tensions in the Middle East.

Kirby added: "The Israelis believe that there is an increasing possibility that Iran and its proxies will launch an attack in the coming days."

"We share this concern, which is why we are coordinating with Israel and other partners in the region.

That is why President Biden spoke by phone with his counterparts in Germany, Britain, France and Italy to discuss the situation in the Middle East, in a way that protects Israel and moves forward with the hostage release agreement and the ceasefire in Gaza," he continued.

For its part, the Wall Street Journal reported that talks on a ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange agreement in Doha on Thursday will be postponed if Iran launches an attack before that date.

Amid the tensions, the British Mirror newspaper reported that the British government is preparing a plan to rescue its citizens from Israel, in the media, and that Iran will launch an attack in London, and it is estimated that there are at least 60,000 people with British citizenship in Israel.
