John Cena retires from the world of wrestling. American wrestler and actor John Cena officially announced his retirement from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) after a career full of achievements.
The 47-year-old Cena confirmed that his last competition will be in 2025, during the “Money in the Bank” event in Toronto, Canada.
The wrestling star expressed his gratitude to the fans who supported him throughout his career spanning more than two decades, which saw him achieve the title of world champion 16 times.
After his announcement, the crowd kept chanting, “Thank you, Cena.” The American wrestler told the fans: “Thank you for allowing me to play for so many years.”
