Kim Jong Un's sister threatens South Korea to pay a heavy price

The powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said on Sunday that South Korea should be prepared to pay a "very heavy price" for sending anti-Pyongyang leaflets, describing such an act as "dirty play."

Kim Yo Jong, deputy director of administration in the ruling Workers' Party, said that she was informed earlier on Sunday by party and military officials that "leaflets and dirty things" had been discovered in 17 places in the border region and other areas of her country, according to what she said. Reported by the South Korean Yonhap News Agency.

The North Korean leader's sister said that those leaflets were burned, according to the regulations for dealing with "items dropped by the enemy."

“Despite repeated warnings from North Korea, the scum of South Korea has not stopped this rude and dirty game,” Kim added in an English-language statement carried by the North’s official Korean Central News Agency.

"As we have already warned, the scumbags, who resort to such a farce, will be severely criticized by their own people. We have fully taken our countermeasures in such a situation," she added.

She continued, saying, "The South Korean clans will be tired of suffering bitter embarrassment, and must be prepared to pay a very high price for their dirty play," according to Yonhap.

So far this year, North Korea has responded to posts from South Korea by sending balloons filled with garbage across the border. South Korea then responded by broadcasting blatant anti-Pyongyang over border loudspeakers.

In an unprecedented move, North Korea's Korean Central News Agency published a photo showing burning leaflets coming from South Korea, along with a package of cold medicine.
