Stock markets in the Middle East fell on Sunday amid tensions in the Middle East and fears of a wider escalation in Gaza.
Stock moves
Saudi Arabia’s index fell 2.4 percent, hurt by a 10 percent drop in aluminium products maker Al Taiseer Group and a 2.7 percent drop in Al Rajhi Bank.
Other losers included oil giant Saudi Aramco, which fell 1.3 percent.
Qatar’s index fell 0.7 percent, with Industries Qatar down 0.7 percent.
Outside the Gulf, Egypt’s blue-chip index fell as all listed stocks, including digital and financial investment firm e-Finance, fell 8 percent.
