The net profits of the National Bank of Kuwait increased during the second quarter of this year.
The financial results announced by the National Bank of Kuwait on Sunday showed an 11 percent increase in net profits in the second quarter of this year, reaching 14.534 million dinars ($47.58 million) compared to 13.128 million dinars a year ago.
The data published on the Kuwait Stock Exchange website showed that the bank achieved a 22 percent increase in its semi-annual net profits, reaching 29.055 million dinars in the first half of 2024, compared to 23.908 million dinars in the same period of 2023.
Commercial Bank of Kuwait
On the other hand, the financial data announced by the Commercial Bank of Kuwait on Sunday showed a 22.1 percent decrease in its net profits to reach 34.356 million dinars ($112.47 million) in the second quarter of 2024 compared to 44.115 million dinars a year ago.
Data published on the Kuwait Stock Exchange website showed that the bank achieved a net profit of 62.955 million dinars in the first half, compared to 69.191 million dinars a year ago.
