The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Saturday that Russian air defense systems destroyed 75 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.
The Russian Defense Ministry said: "Last night, when the Kiev regime attempted to carry out a terrorist attack using drones on targets in Russian territory, the operating air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 36 drones over the Rostov region and 8 over the Kursk region," according to the Russian Sputnik news website.
The statement added: "Nine drones were shot down over Belgorod, 17 over Orlovskaya, two over Ryazan region, one over Voronezh region, one over the Sea of Azov, and one over Krasnodar Territory."
Earlier today, the governor of Russia's Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, said early Saturday that the territory of the region was attacked last night by 55 Ukrainian drones.
“Last night, the territory of Rostov Region was attacked by 55 Ukrainian drones. As a result of the attack, there were no casualties,” the governor added in a post on his Telegram channel.
