Egyptian Sarah Samir (26 years old) won the silver medal in the 81 kg weightlifting category for women at the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
Norwegian Kwanda Solfried snatched the gold medal with a new Olympic record after lifting 275 kg, while the bronze medal went to Nisi Dacomis from Ecuador.
Sarah Samir succeeded in lifting 268 kg in total.
This is the second Olympic medal in Samir's career, after winning the bronze in the 69 kg weight category at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016.
This is Egypt's second medal at the Paris Olympics, after Mohamed El-Sayed's bronze in the fencing sabre, which he won in the first week of the games.
