سويسرا تحافظ على صدارة أفضل دول العالم للعام الثاني على التوالي

Switzerland topped the list of the best countries in the world for the second year in a row, according to analyzes conducted by US News & World, global marketing and communications services company WPP and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

The analysis of the best countries in the world evaluates 87 countries and includes 10 sub-categories ranging from entrepreneurship and quality of life. Its methodology was based on a survey of more than 17,000 global citizens from 36 countries, including business leaders and individuals with university education and belonging to the middle or upper middle class.

Canada came in second place, Sweden and Australia witnessed a significant rise to become among the top five countries in the world, and in fifth place came the United States.

“A country's economy, as well as its ability to succeed in key areas such as trade, travel and investment, depends in part on how it is perceived globally,” said Morgan Felchner, executive editor of news and events at US News.

David Roth, Chairman of the Board of Directors of WBB, said: Switzerland’s consistent success in the rankings of the best countries highlights not only its strength in entrepreneurship, quality of life and its positive global image.

The UAE ranked nineteenth in the world, and Saudi Arabia ranked thirty-first.
