The Applied Sciences Institute launches the “My Beginning is Right” campaign in the Avenues to educate students on choosing appropriate majors

The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training launched today, Thursday, an awareness campaign entitled (My Beginning is Right) at the Avenues Mall, with the aim of educating students on how to choose appropriate specializations. The campaign will continue until August 6.

The Director General of the Applied Sciences, Dr. Hassan Al-Fajjam, said in a press statement that the Authority has set up a pavilion in the Avenues Mall for this purpose and to answer inquiries and questions regarding the application process for joining colleges, institutes and training courses.


Al-Fajjam explained that a specialized team from the Deanship of Admission and Registration is responsible for informing visitors to the pavilion about everything related to the specializations and courses offered for the academic year 2024/2025 and everything related to the application process to avoid any mistakes that the applicant may make, wishing everyone success in making the right choice for their future.

He stressed that the Authority sought to harness all capabilities to facilitate the registration process for application and educate its students on how to choose the appropriate specialization for them and desired in the labor market, indicating that participation in the Avenues Mall came in response to the students' desire to communicate with officials at the Authority.


For his part, Dean of Admissions and Registration at the (Applied) Dr. Fawzi Al-Dokhi said in a similar statement that the admission plan for the academic year 2024/2025 includes new specializations offered for the first time, namely (Financial Management), (Marketing), (Management Information Systems), and (Logistics Management) in the College of Business Studies, and (Energy Efficiency Technology) in the College of Technological Studies for Boys only.


He added that specializations have been reopened after they were suspended, namely (Islamic Studies), (Sciences), and (Mathematics) in the College of Basic Education for Boys only, and (Kindergarten) in the College of Basic Education for Girls.


He called on students and parents to visit the Authority's pavilion in the Avenues Mall in the first phase starting today, Thursday, from 10 am to 10 pm.
