The Israeli army issued evacuation orders to citizens in several areas in the northern Gaza Strip today, Wednesday.
Local sources reported that the Israeli army issued evacuation orders in the Beit Hanoun area and the neighborhoods of Al-Manshiya, Sheikh Zayed, and the displaced in the northern Gaza Strip.
Since Wednesday morning, the aforementioned area has witnessed a forced displacement movement after the occupation army demanded its evacuation, according to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa".
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said in a report last week that the forced evacuation orders issued by the occupation army have become a daily occurrence for citizens of the Gaza Strip, who are forced to leave in order to save their lives.
It added that families are forced to move again and again, knowing that safety does not exist anywhere in the Gaza Strip.
UNRWA indicated that 83% of the Gaza Strip has been placed under evacuation orders or classified by the Israeli army as "prohibited areas".
According to the latest statistics, the number of displaced people in the Gaza Strip has reached about two million, including 1.7 million living in the Al-Mawasi area southwest of the Strip in appalling living conditions, according to a previous statement by the international humanitarian aid organization "Oxfam".
The Israeli forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, air and sea, since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of 39,653 citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 91,535 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue teams cannot reach them.
